ARE YOU IN PAIN? WE CAN HELP!
Many people seek care in our practice for just one reason: THEY ARE IN PAIN and THEY WANT RELIEF! So that’s where we start!
What kind of pain do we treat? All kinds of pain!
At the initial visit, we will engage in a one-on-one conversation with you, the patient, to determine medical history and symptoms. We will then conduct a comprehensive exam to determine the cause of these symptoms. The adjustment and treatment procedures will be customized to address your concerns and to fit your needs.
Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat! Rat-a-tat-tat-tat! What's that sound?
It's a computerized instrument we use to analyze, evaluate and adjust your spine. It's revoluntionary because it eliminates the need for twisting or torquing the spine during the manipulation process.
In a seated position with your spine comfortably supported, the doctor will guide the instrument to gently tap on each vertebra. The computer will sense the “echo” of each tap and create a wave pattern which you and your doctor can review on the screen.
Based on this wave pattern, the doctor will recommend an appropriate treatment plan, or manipulation, for your particular condition. Manipulation provides a gentle force into areas of the body that are fixed in an abnormal position to reduce pain to an injured area. Using our computerized adjusting instrument, with each tap, we can see your body change. When maximum stress reduction of the affected area is achieved, we stop tapping. Manipulations are coupled with treatments such as Electrical Stimulation, Intersegmental Traction, Heating and Stretching resulting in improved function and nervous system integrity which trigger a resurgence of your body’s own healing capacity.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Lasers emit photons in specific regions of the electro-magnetic spectrum. The use of the laser is quick and PAIN FREE and the benefits are far reaching. Cold Laser Therapy promotes cell growth, improves circulation and speeds the process of nerve cell re-connection while reducing swelling and healing time.
Your pain may be diminished but our work here is not done. Once we have relieved our patients of the acute pain that first brought them into the office, we begin a restorative process focusing on strengthening the affected areas. This includes exercise routines custom designed for you, the patient, and supervised by our professional staff. Our office is located within The Health Club at Southpointe placing all the equipment necessary for complete rehabilitation at our disposal.
